Malaysia Car of the Year (MCOTY) Book Launch.

Appropriately presented at the venue of the Overall Winner of MCOTY @ Zeekr Space, Sunway City, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Gracing the occasion was Datuk Dr Aminar Rashid, the Chairman of MARii (Malaysia Automotive Robotics & IoT Institute) under the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI) with Yamin Vong (Founder of MCOTY) & Mr Eddy Lu (GM Zeekr Intelligent Technology) receiving MCOTY book on behalf of Zeekr parent co, China.

Zeekr 009 Ultimate Luxury won the Overall Car of the Year 2025 award. Catch this winner & other car makes & models at Off Road in the City (ORIC) next month (30 May 1 June at MAEPS, Serdang)

Rainforest Challenge (RFC) as Malaysia’s iconic 4x4 adventure brand in the World’s Top 5 Toughest Off-Road Races also rightfully placed an ad on Pg 78 in support of this prestigious book.

Footnote: a nostalgic reunion (pix by Tim Ho) of both Yamin & Luis Wee (Founder of RFC) tracing their 4x4 roots back to the early 1990’s when the former was already an off-road “guru” & the latter was still a 4x4 rookie!
